Special Order LOVE Bullet Necklace

The fabulous writer Cat Stahl {the one who wrote about LOVE bullets in the Reno Gazzette-Journal!} asked if I could make a necklace out of one of the 21 gun salute of her Father's funeral, who was in the Army. I was honored to turn that memento into something she can wear and love.

The Gun Show

You wouldn't think I'd be found at the gun show on a Saturday morning....but you'd be so so wrong!  I got up early, got coffee and headed to the Reno Gun Show and bought some new ammo for my love bullet necklaces! It was so fun to wander around and see all the huge guns and I even found a pink one :)

G is for Grateful...

These past few weeks in Arizona, I've had a lot to be grateful for. So it's so fitting that this morning at breakfast with my Mom and Aunt, this ring literally fell out of my Mom's purse and right in front of me...leaving me to try it on and keep it {it was originally my sister's...thanks sissy!} and now I can wear it {in this post as a thumb ring} and have a constant reminder to keep in mind what I've learned here. Thanks so much to my family for being so loving and understanding on this visit and always.

Bracelet Fanatic

If you haven't noticed lately.... I am obsessed with bracelets!!!! Of course I love semi-precious stones on a sturdy stretch band, but my new favorite is a foreign coin on leather. I am currently in the process of collecting fabulous materials, so stay tuned to see the next concoction.

Bracelet Workshop

 When my family came into town, I made them all beaded bracelets to remember their trip to Tahoe. I also loved personalizing their gift boxes, which I think adds so much sparkle to a simple gift. Anyways, all the ladies caught the beading bug and a trip to the bead store + many hours on the kitchen table with my Grammy.... and I feel officially in business! It's so much fun and I will be sure and snap some pics of these lovely girls in the jewelry!

Soludas and Stripes

 Here is me with our family friends that were visiting Tahoe this last week. I feel like a major Soludo ambassador lately because I cannot take mine off or stop raving about them... I even convinced my cousin to get a pair for her move to Kenya!

Today, you are not only getting a "you know you're fabulous when" post....you're getting a double dose! Here are my cousin Rachel's new Sam Edelman kicks {see more here!} she was one of my bridesmaids and just recently moved to Seattle. So these shoes were a must, obviously. And below are a beautiful bouquet of flowers my friend Lo gave me today! I adore the blush roses and peonies. Fabulous!

Event this Thursday in Truckee!

I will be there sponsoring Love, live and Give Jewelry for Charity selling LOVE bullet necklaces and some other beaded and fabulous items like some bracelets! All for Truckee/Tahoe Humane society, 10% of all my proceeds will benefit that local charity. The fab owner Kait of the store DRESSED is hosting this wonderful event to help local artists such as myself and her store will be 20% off store wide! Whoop whoop! Om Moments

Some days I look at my white OM tattoo more than others ....tomorrow is going to be one of those days. So I wanted to share the photos of me getting my favorite tattoo. I was 22 years old and look how short my hair was! And I still have that Marilyn Monroe tee shirt.
