 My jewelry line is officially sold at Blu Boutique in Incline Village!!!! Today, after my friend Jill and I ate at our fave mexican restaurant, we popped into Blu and my necklaces were displayed with style to say the least! So excited to be sold there!

 I am so thrilled to announce that I am selling my jewelry LOVE, LIVE & GIVE for charity at Blu Boutique located in Incline, NV as of this afternoon! And to top it off, my dear friend Jill is selling her fantastic belts there as well! We had so much fun dropping them off and shopping a tad bit! Gearing up for being SOLD in Blu Boutique in Incline, NV is high priority and I'm hoping to get picked up by some boutique's in Scottsdale this weekend during my trip home. With that comes some fun outtings to Michael's and about three different bead stores to get all the loot I need to make a nice presentation. Here is a preview of what's in store!

My Dream Office

In our new house, I was very excited to have an office. Though we do have two spare bedrooms, they are currently guest rooms with 3 twin beds and not an office, unfortunately. But in the future, I plan on having a very snazzy office that I will keep a million times cleaner than husband's office (which is a free standing "shed" in our backyard and cluttered with coffee cups + cans of PBR. bleh. ) Here is a photo I found on the blog Made by Girl and I love the feel of this person's office plus I think I spy a Beatles painting {click photo to enlarge} on the armour filled with neatly organized stuff! :)

Inspiration: le frenchie

Inspiration to me: Great photography. Cute outfits. Bold eye brows. Fucking fabulous hair. Anything that makes me stop and look for more than 10 seconds. 

From now on, every Monday I'm going to do a post about inspiration. Since Sunday night/ Monday morning I tend to do a lot of cruising on fashion blogs, I end up with ample inspiration for the week to come. This week's inspirational post is frenchie themed and is from Le petit petit's blog. Enjoy!

New Necklace For Charity

the LA state of mind

 

The past few years, I've been especially careful with my skin. I used to hate hats because, let's face it, I have fucking fabulous hair! But, I have suuuuuper sensitive skin so I've embraced the straw fedora for summer and try to seriously consider other hat trends as well. And for some reason, I've fallen in love with my LA ball cap. 

Am I from Los Angeles, you might ask? No. 

Am I a baseball fan? Nope. 

The only reason I can think of as loving this hat is that, to me, it's a statement. It says "I'm tougher than you think" in two letters. But maybe it also says "I'm tough AND I shop on Robertson Blvd." and that's when I realized it must be the frenchie in me! Oui, oui! I'm a jerk and I'm fabulous! The perfect statement for moi :)

Booze Cruise Tahoe Style

 This last Saturday was my friend Lo's birthday and since she's only been on the lake with kayaks, we decided the best way to celebrate her birthday was to cruise lake Tahoe in style and with cocktails! We hopped on the Tahoe Gal for their brunch cruise to Fleur de Lac and had so much fun!!!

Feelin' Bad Looks Good

Today I swear I should have been on a reality show. First, I'm running late to pick up the clothes for my photoshoot only to sit and wait at Starbucks for 45 minutes for a model to no show on me. As I wait, I run into my friend Katie and ask if she has any good looking friends. She gives me Claire's cell number and lucky enough she can shoot today in Squaw Valley but only for an hour and a half when I have at least four hours worth of clothes to shoot. So, I brush my hair and drag my husband to the shoot, hand him the camera and model half the ensembles my-fucking-self. It actually turned out to be loads of fun and here is our first look where I said our inspiration was the Aerosmith video from the 90's with Liv Tyler and Alicia Silverstone where they are teenage runaways!

And might I say I think my 90's Liv Tyler is dead on balls accurate.
